Kevin Kennedy gets his marching orders!

February 29, 2012

You have got to be kidding me.   Kevin Kennedy is actually considering asking for more time.   If the GAB can not finish the review in the time allotted then the recall should be called off.  If a judge grants them more time to review the petitions then I believe that Scott Walker should go back into court and DEMAND MORE TIME!  The VTR  data should be completed and public by then.  That would allow Governor Walker to use their data.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — State election officials say they’ll probably need more time to complete their recall signature review.

Democrats have turned nearly 2 million signatures against Gov. Scott Walker and five other Republicans. The state Government Accountability Board has until March 19 to determine whether enough valid signatures exist to trigger elections. If so, the board would have to schedule the elections for the sixth Tuesday after March 19.

Now board Director Kevin Kennedy says the board anticipates asking a judge for a deadline extension. It’s unclear how much more time the board wants. The body plans to discuss the matter at a March 12 meeting.

The board wants to avoid scheduling recall elections in April because clerks will be busy with the regular spring election that month.

So apparently Kevin got the call from Mike Tate telling him to slow down the process.   Someone needs to open a JOHN DOE investigation.  Something in Madison is stinking up the place!
